🎬 Beyond the Bell – Episode 28- Honoring Veterans Through Art
At Lecanto High School, creativity meets gratitude in a powerful way. Superintendent Dr. Scott Hebert spent time with Lecanto School of the Arts students as they unveiled a stunning collaborative project—10 vertical art panels created to honor our veterans. These pieces, soon to be permanently displayed in the Miles Teller Theatre at the Curtis Peterson Auditorium, showcase a wide range of artistic styles and techniques, each telling a meaningful story of service, sacrifice, and patriotism.
More than just artwork, this project gave students a chance to reflect on the importance of honoring those who have served—and to express that appreciation through their own voices and talents. Hearing directly from students about what this project meant to them makes it even more impactful.
